Barrier

Barriers (or BP for Barrier Points) are temporary and expendable shielding added on top of Overshields. These additional shields are especially beneficial as they are not susceptible to Piercing damage unlike Overshields. However, Barriers do not regenerate once they have been depleted.
Barriers can be acquired from a variety of Gear, Skills, Consumables, and more.
When a player has acquired a Barrier, their SP bar gains a slightly opaque white sheen indicating the additional Barrier Points added to it.
Barriers do not have a corresponding Element type, blocking all elemental and Ballistic damage equally.
