Battlefront & Warfront

Battlefront and Warfront are intense, combined PvE VS Player (PvEvP) activities that pit Squadrons against challenging AI Enemies while also competing against other players. Teams will need to defeat AI Hunters, complete objectives, and survive the opposing team’s attacks.   The first team to defeat the final boss wins. If the timer expires, the activity will result in a draw. Winning teams receive much better rewards. Both Battlefront and Warfront activities become available to players after completing the questline “Hunting The Hunter".  

Battlefront

Battlefront is a fast-paced activity where teams of three players each battle it out in a dynamic environment filled with both AI-controlled enemies as well as an opposing player team. The objective is to achieve a set number of points by completing various objectives and defeating enemies, while also defending against enemy player teams. Once the point threshold has been met, players must then fight a final boss.   Players will spawn at their respective base along with several friendly AI Allies. They need to push forward toward two defensive towers that must be captured. Players must fight off enemy units opposing them at the two towers and capture them for their team by standing in the surrounding area unopposed for 30 consecutive seconds. Enemy AI units will continue to spawn at set intervals, occasionally spawning more powerful units.   Once both towers are captured, a boss enemy will spawn at the enemy base which must be defeated. If the opposing team captures either tower, the boss becomes immune and cannot be damaged. Both towers must be controlled to remove its immunity shield. The first team to destroy the other’s boss wins.  

Warfront

Warfront is similar to Battlefront with a few key exceptions. It is a 6v6 activity, the combat arena is much larger, and there are multiple objectives required to win. In addition to fighting enemy units and players, teams must capture three control points by standing in their capture zone for 15 consecutive seconds unopposed. After at least two zones have been captured, players must then venture into enemy territory to collect resources scattered through the area, then bring them back to deposit at the captured zones. If a zone is lost, players will be unable to deposit their resources and risk losing them.   Once enough collective resources have been collected, two boss enemies will spawn that must be defeated. Boss enemies will be immune unless at least one zone is controlled, however if two or three zones are controlled, they will take additional damage when attacking. The first team to defeat both wins.
