Frame Repair

Repairing Guardian Frames is both more intricate than gear maintenance, but also much more straightforward. Skills can be learned to improve the process through the Upgrade Trees, however Combat will inherently cause wear on Frames which must be reconditioned before embarking again.
Any repairs performed on Frames will also include a Neutron Battery recharge. Additional recharge rates will be charged depending on their depletion at the time of repair.
Frame repairs are dictated by the total amount of damage received and represented by an overall Frame Durability percentage. Frame Repairs can be less costly than Gear Repair, however they do still take increasingly long real world time. Different Frame Classes have their individual classes tracked when evaluating Frame repair in order to incentivize players to utilize a variety of Classes and not just stick to one. When selecting a new Specialized Class, a random bonus will become available so players can still benefit from changing playstyles.
Any repairs to a Specialized Frame Class automatically changes a player’s selection to the Knight Class. Knight Frames do not take real world time to repair and are repaired instantly once paid for.

Costs

The cost for a single Frame repair is dependent on the extent of the damage, beginning at 5% of the player’s total Astrals and increasing by an additional 5% per tier for a maximum of 30% for a completely destroyed Frame. There are multiple tiers of repairs based on their remaining Durability, and the duration of the repair can widely vary.

• Microscopic Damage - 99% to 90% Durability. Repairing microscopic damage is instant.
• Minor Damage - 89% to 70% Durability. Repairing minor damage takes one hour.
• Moderate Damage - 69% to 50% Durability. Repairing moderate damage takes two hours.
• Major Damage - 49% to 20% Durability. Repairing moderate damage takes four hours.
• Massive Damage - 19% to 1% Durability. Repairing moderate damage takes six hours.
• Destroyed - 0% Durability remaining. The longest repair time is reserved for the most heavily damaged Frames. Repairing a completely destroyed Frame takes twelve hours.

It is important to note that Specialized Frames cannot be repaired simultaneously. This can dramatically increase overall repair time, so players are advised to carefully weigh the costs of using a Specialized Frame versus the standard Knight. Players may optionally purchase a Supercharger at The Emporium which instantly completes a battery recharge and repairs for the current Specialized Frame under repair at the Foundry.
