Eichen House
Eichen House was originally a normal mental hospital, founded by the Eichman family in the Oak Creek region of Beacon County, on the edge of Beacon Hills.
In the 1940s, it was requisitioned by the US Government to serve as the hospital for Oak Creek Relocation Centre.
Samuel Eichman, grandson of the hospital's founder Hans Eichman, served as a doctor during this time, and was one of the only survivors of the Oak Creek Massacre. Haunted by what he had seen, he became obsessed with researching the supernatural.
Eventually, after several years of planning, he was responsible for cutting down The California Nemeton. He used the wood from the tree to constuct a second facility underneath the hospital, the Eichen House Secure Unit, designed to hold supernatural creatures.
