Nemetons

Nemetons are oak trees sacred to Druids. They are sacred to Nemetona, the Matronae, and, via syncretism, Hekate.

They are wells of wild magic, which Druids can draw on to cast spells. The strength of this magic makes them beacons to supernatural creatures, attracting them to an area.

They are protected by Guardians, as well as magical protections placed on them by the Druids who worship there. The most common form of protection is a charm meaning that they can only be found by those who already know where they are, meaning any new initiates must be guided by someone who has worshipped there previously, keeping their location a closely guarded secret within werewolf packs and Druid orders.
