Future War Empire

The End War, Yibbithal, is no myth or tale, it is a fact just as real as you or I, when it comes we will all serve our purpose and play the part we are meant to, As It Was Written, So It Shall Be Done

Created by K. Crawford

Structure

Imperials and their organizations can be broken up into 1 of three classes

Nobility

Organizations or persons who are of Royal Blood as decreed by the Laws of Old. Members of this Class hold significant priority. All Emperors & Empresses are born into this Class.

Cleregy

The religious body of the Empire who leads the religion and the Common God-Fearing-Man. They stand second not even to the Empire and serve as the prophets of the Old Gods.

Warrior

Refers to the Armed forces of the Empire who are responsible for defending the Empire from both internal & external dangers. They serve both the Nobility & Clergy.

Culture

The Empire perceives this Universe as a stepping stone to the next Universe after Yobbithal where the victor will gain the right to rule over creation, whether it be Man, Angel, or Demon. This is known as Salvation and those who are faithful to their chosen Imperial God are on the Righteous Path. This is not out of cruelty or pure desire for war, but because it must be done. Yibbithal is coming, only those fools of the Iron Banner would seek to prevent it whilst the Commonwealth denounces its very existence. The war will come again, but this time Mortal-Kind will obtain victory and create a new 3rd Universe free from pain, agony, stress, uncertainty, and loss. This is paradise, this is Salvation.

Military

-- Future War Sentinels --

The Sentinels are the armed forces of the Empire, separated into Four Branches, with each Branch having both a NAVY & an ARMY to carry out their operations. Each of these Branches is led by a Summus Generalis who has full control over the branch, including both the Classis Praefectus (Fleet Admiral) & the Superior Dux (5 STAR General). Each of the Guards employs the use of IMPs, genetically engineered lifeforms that can serve as cannon fodder, produced in mass. As a result of these low-skill tasks being filled by IMPs, members of the Guard are expected to have a far higher skill set.
Imperial Guard The 'normal' guards of Imperial controlled worlds. Normally seen policing domestic worlds & systems. Relatively low skill and mostly tasked with discharging petty criminals.
Honor Guard Similar to the Imperial Guard, this Guard serves on the Edges of the Empire and is the general military force of the FWE whereas the IG is more like the Police Force in operations.
Royal Guard The Guard is dedicated to protecting and serving the various Nobel Houses and Nobility of the Empire as well as the Royal Family. Extremely skilled and disciplined.
Old Guard This Guard is split up into other Guards who serve the Religious Sects of the Empire, serving as the official force of the Church within the Empire. Each of the Old Gods has its own 'Old Guard'.

Religion

THE IMPERIAL INQUISITION

The Inquisition is the official and only tolerated religion of the Empire. In short, the Empire has aligned itself with the Old Gods, surviving Gods from the Old Universe. And within the Empire there are serval sub-religions that allow citizens to chose which God Gods to worship so long as they are of the Offical Imperial Pantheon, allowing for religious freedom to some degree. Because Gods gain additional power from Worshipers, there are civil wars and disputes between different religious sects, maintained by the Inquisition.

Education

The Empire prides itself on its universal and standardized forms of education, with strict laws on all children attending schools for no less than 7 years, obtaining a Civilian Clearance, without it, getting a job or starting a life in the Empire is damn near impossible. An example of this strict adherence to education is their University-Peer-World Ration Scale, a system used to identify exactly how many schools need to be publically available on any given World or Moon or Planetoid based on the planet's size and population. For example, if we used current-day Earth in the Empire, the Empire wound demand no less than 312 Schools worldwide.
  • The Imperial Academy is the basic school all Citizens are required to attend, running seven years in length and teaches the basics of education as well as valuable life and social skills.
  • The Imperial Officer's Academy is suited for citizens making the transition to one of the Sentinels armed branches, Six years in length.
Education is such a big problem in the Empire because they control vast amounts of space with many enemies, this initiative was started by the very first Imperial Emperor, Tacrt Boezlk, who feared his followers would fall into civil war and mayhem once he died because of their lack of intelligence. It is also one of the biggest differences between the Commonwealth and the Empire, as they have a much high standard of education. A smart Citizen is better than a Strong Citizen.

Begrudgingly Co-Existing

The Inquisition is primarily led by the Old Gods, led by Kars, who are largely driven by the prospect of winning the next End War, which will give them the power to craft a Universe full of blind followers and worshipers.
The Empire is led by the Monarch Families, who work with the Inquisition but are very aware that the major reason they are so powerful is that the Old Gods have sided with them. But they are wary of them, they repeatedly have displayed no interest in the outcome of the Empire and only desire to win Yibbithal.

Cautious Yet Trusting, To a Degree

The Order of the Black Forge were once apart of the Dragon Forge of the Iron Banner but separated due to complicated circumstances. They have officially joined the Empire and manufacture many of their weapons. However, the Empire does not have absolute faith in the Forge, despite their apparent loyalty. And vice versa, the Black Forge only really joined the Empire to be spared retaliation from the Iron Lords.

Diametrically Opposed, FOES

The Empire is enlightened, guided by the religious dogma of the Old GODS, Yibbithal IS coming, of that, there is no question. The Empire tries, but it cannot save those who are too ignorant to be saved, there will be sacrifices, yes, this is expected. But to those who survive and win the war will be gifted a new Universe to make their own paradise in!
The Iron Order are realists, led by the stoic King Mordred, he is billions of years old and is the only survivor of the 1st Great End War. Yibbithal is real, yes, but it need not come to pass, they are not slaves to FATE or DESTINY, we are Man and Bone, we make our own path forward. They fight to ensure that the Seals are never broken to maintain a facade of peace.
The Empire has already accepted reality and hopes to get ahead of the curve while the Iron Order rejects what is coming in a vain attempt to preserve an imperfect reality.

Sword Enemies -- Show No Mercy

The Empire started off as a rebel terrorist cell within the Commonwealth and only grew to be more problematic from there. They formed an Empire based on the notion that our Universe, and all of its people, are "false", they cannot be saved and the only hope is to bring about Yibbithal to create a new and pure Universe, one where the Gods rule man, the way nature intended it to be. The Commonwealth sees the Empire as a radical and overzealous extremist group who have only survived so long because they allied themselves with the Old Gods. They and their religious doctrine are dangerous and if left to their own devices, they will be our doom.

HUNT DOWN & ERRIDICATE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE

The FWE hates all Iron Knights but they hold a special type of HATE in their hearts for the Starside Outriders, a flame that never goes out. It was their Captain, the one known as Balthazar Skyburner, who lit this flame when he humiliated the Empress on a galactic scale on the planet Challenge when he saved her daughter from a swift execution and furthermore when he and his brothers defeated her on Zepjer. These events led to the downfall of the Empire and earned Skyburner many, many, enemies, far too many to count. They cursed his name and his lineage and vowed he would one day feel their wrath ...
Billy held no real quarrel with the Empire, he was ordered to act by his Captain, Prince Loholt, and understood the Empire was a threat not only to the Universe but to the balance of all things.
