Eldanír-in-Danu
Eldanír-in-Danu is one of the six temple-campuses of the Wild Dynasty religion in Scalados that trains Clerics and Warrior Monks. It is the southernmost temple, located in the diocese of Danundor half a day's walk from the city of Arborcítta.
Alterations
The grand oak at the center of the courtyard is the latest in a line of several trees that have grown in its spot. The previous tree withered and died during Onimaru's Scandal in the Y740s, which some attribute to the tree's dismay at the Prima's and Valòmar's affair. When the grand oak is large enough, its crown holds training facilities for upper-level warrior monks; the monks' ability to climb its branches and land gracefully from any falls is itself a test of their abilities.
Architecture
The building is made excusively of timber from the surrounding Eldar Wood, blessed by priests of Danu during its construction.
History
Eldanír-in-Danu was built in the first century of the Age of Integrity, under the orders from Queen Scala I to build temples to the Wild Gods throughout her lands. The temple's location in the Eldar Wood was chosen partially due to its proximity to Danu's Veil.
Tourism
The temple, half a day's walk from Arborcítta in good weather, only opens to the public on major religious feast days. However, it is relatively frequently visited by traveling scholars, due to its relative proximity to the port of Undacítta.
