Huldra

Huldra, a realm shaped by the hands of a dwarf-turned-god, stands as a kingdom that spans the rugged mountain range and extends deep into the intricate depths of the Underdark. The kingdom was initially bestowed upon Tardan Ironstorm by his blood-brother, the ascended deity Dvalin. The Cracked Smile Mountain Range was once larger in the past, but was gradually worn down by the battles waged between giants and dragons, now serving as a natural boundary that isolates Frio from the other kingdoms.


The present-day Huldra, however, encompasses more than just the majestic peaks and surrounding hills. It delves into the heart of Ori, reaching into the subterranean realms with thriving cities and villages embedded within the Underdark. Tardan Ironstorm's bloodline met a tragic end with the demise of Beo Ironstorm, who fell while bravely confronting the Mourning Smog. In the aftermath, the mantle passed to Wolf Tornstrung, the son of Beo's wife from a previous marriage, who now stands as the current heir to the throne, learning the nuances of kingship under the guidance of mentors and officials.


The kingdom thrives through lucrative endeavors such as extensive mining projects, skilled craftsmanship in weapon and armor forging, and the innovation of architectural designs that echo the grandeur of the mountains.

Demographics

The kingdom of Huldra boasts a diverse population, running deep within the crust. Surface dwellers include dwarves, halflings, orcs, and goblins, with beastkin also dwelling in the mountains.

Government

Huldra's governance, rooted in its dwarven heritage, bears the semblance of a feudal monarchy. Gorganth is a resilient capital amidst the peaks, symbolizes the heart of Huldra's strength and prosperity.
