Oneshot Plan 2022
Soooo welcome to the oneshot! It will be set in the south of Tangearin, the southwestern most continent on the map below. The small town of Ervrost will be where it is set.

The town of Ervrost is situated in the Southern Frosts, an area of Tiaga and Tundra on the south of the continent. It has about 1,000 residents. It is on the outskirts of a colony of the Amiro Empire. Please see the map below.
The map has the different races from the region and where they might be found. This is only a guideline though and you could come up with an excuse for any race to be located down near Ervrost, you just may need to get creative.
Races include:
For your backstories there are many different groups that you could be a part of if you want to. There is no need to be part of an organization/etc though. Just they are available if you want and may give you extra knowledge on how cultures etc may work (for example, if you end up fighting a group of Amiro Empire guards, someone who was from the Amiro Empire may have bonus info on how the organization works or what their movements in the area may entail leading up to the game).
The tribes have many positions that you could associate with. Same with both of the gnome groups. I have none of the cultures designed yet so really we can go as in depth as you may like.
The Amiro Empire has numerous organizations that you could be a part of. Spy, merchant, religious etc. There are also several organizations that are opposed to the Amiro Empire, generally trying to contest its creeping colonization or in disagreement over its lawful stance.
Finally, there are many religious groups that you could be affiliated with. Religion/deities in my world are based on principles (I dont have an article on how religion works yet). So basically, if you come up with key principles that you want your character to have (for example: destroy undeath, preserve life, protect nature, belief in luck, chivalry/honor, etc.). Come up with 2 or 3 you like and I can tell you what your options are.

- Tribe folk: gnomes, elf, human, orc, goblinoid (these wander the Southern Frosts). There are several different tribes and if you would like to be from one of them let me know and I can give you details on the different spiritual animals
- Crymist Gnomes. These gnomes survive in ice caves at the bottom of the continent.
- Crest gnomes. Descended from Crymist gnomes (they grew tired of being constantly freezing in ice caves), they ride hippogriphs and extend up into the storm dam mountains.
- Trolls/Ogres/etc. Very common in the south of the Storm Dam mountains. Ogres in particular are not very well regarded.
- Amiro Empire citizens: There is an Amiro Empire colony in the area. This colony would have humans, halflings, and elves. Although Ervrost is not within the Amiro Empire (being more 'governed' by the tribes) there is still a lot influence from them
