Marshes of Death
The Marshes of Death is a vast marshland in Rodinia, it is a land of death and suffering.
It sprawls across a vast expanse, a desolate and forbidding landscape where the boundary between life and death blurs into obscurity. Corpse-strewn and shrouded in perpetual mist, this treacherous terrain presents an insurmountable challenge to Mortals daring enough to venture within its boundaries. Every aspect of the marsh seems designed to thwart and extinguish the living, making it a place synonymous with demise and despair.
For the undead, however, the Marshes of Death offer sanctuary and sustenance. Here, amidst the decaying remnants of the living, the undead find a haven where the harsh conditions that repel mortals are benign or even beneficial to their existence. It is a realm where the natural order is inverted, and the undead roam freely, undisturbed by the threats that plague the living.
The inhospitable nature of the Marshes deters nations and civilizations from encroaching upon its borders, allowing the undead to carve out a semblance of peace in a world fraught with prejudice and persecution. Far from the prying eyes of mortal societies, the marsh becomes a refuge for those shunned and outcast by the living.
Yet, despite its desolation, the Marshes of Death are not devoid of activity. It attracts a motley assortment of scavengers, necromancers, and dark cultists drawn by the promise of untapped resources and forbidden knowledge. Amidst the stagnant waters and rotting vegetation, these sinister figures ply their trade, exploiting the abundance of materials and arcane secrets hidden within the depths of the marsh.

History
These lands were once part of the large Manalands, the lands here were sparse with marshes and fertile land. This would change after the Great War of Undeath. Following the demise of the undead legions of Nebuchadnezzar- Vampire God by the mortal nations, the land has slowly been tainted and plagued over the many years. The cause of which is unknown, but the Vampires surely had a hand in it.
