Bodemwasser
Tucked into the Bijtend Cliffs on the coast, this cove is a great spot for local fishermen. Only the local fishermen and boatmen from the surrounding settlements of Marnandberg, Boden, and Vlodrop have navigated to this cove enough to have some level of confidence in not crashing upon the rocks of the Bijtend Cliffs to reach here.
Geography
The Bijtend cliffs here form a natural bowl where the waves and sea is calmer here. Navigating a boat around the cliffs to get to this treacherous area is still difficult.
Fauna & Flora
Many salt water fish enter this cove in the spring to spawn. The most famous is the Frisian Bluebacked Drum, which can fetch a hefty price at fish markets. Some corals and sea flora find the area calm enough to gorwn and for those who manage to get here by boat, can walk around and collect mollusks in the many tide pools.
