Lake Ansel

Lake Ansel is a beautiful small lake situated well upriver of the Venlo Fluss almost where it reaches the Highpeaks. it is known for it's destination as a summer retreat for many rich merchants and nobles.

Geography

The lake is tucked between the Middel Berkwoud and the Schaduwoud forests. The crystal clear spring water flowing from the High Peaks down the Venlo Fluss make the water of the lake cool and crisp year round.
How I long for the turquoise alpine waters of Lake Ansel on days like these. Papers pile up on my desk and all I can think about is sailing and swimming upon her waters.
— Deitrich Fojgel, Merchant
