Sint Geertruid
This village built up from nearby Nederig Abbey which is inhabited by the Sisters of the Blessed Falls, a monastic order dedicated to Sint Geertruid, one of the Saints. It is supposedly built on the exact spot where Sint Geertruid ascended. It is also home to the Luckstone of Sint Geertruid, an artifact said to be made from a stone slab that was from the altar on which Sint Geertruid died and thus, ascended. Along with the other villages on Lake Ansel, Sint Geertruid is home to many noble and merchant families during the spring and summer when the weather is warm.
Government
Governed by Abbess Elke Schoorl of the Sisters of the Blessed Tear.
