Keeper Orin Delon
Orion Delon is the Keeper of the small mining village simply known as Orin's Keep. He assumed the position 31 years prior, in 3470 A.L., following the execution (or murder) of the previous Keeper, Castus. Orion was appointed to the position of Keeper after Captain Eskrid the local Dragonborn captain, killed Castus for protesting excessive requisitioning.
Orion has been largely successful as Keeper. Though some may feel that he is meek and allows submissive to his draconic overlords, the astute observer would notice that Orion has successfully managed to keep the dragonborn mostly satisfied while still keeping the village well supplied.
Orion has had to make my difficult decisions over the years, some of which have had very dark, practical outcomes.
Biography:
Orin Delon was born on the 8th of Harvest, 3449 A.L. to Olden and Maega Delon in the village that was then called Farthen's Keep. In 3469 A.L., at the age 20, he married his wife, Helena Delon. About a year later, he would be appointed as village Keeper by Eskrid following the death of Castus. Orin would go on to have a largely successful run as Keeper for the next 31 years. He did his best to avoid escalating any tensions with the Draconians, which did a great deal to limit the number of humans executed by angered dragonborn. Unfortunately, avoiding escalated issues with the Draconians required a very stern hand in keeping order. Orin began the practice of using enforcers to effect a measure of human order and control so that matters would not come to the attention of the dragonborn or their captain. Many people were greatly upset by the harsh measures, which included incarceration, reduced rations, and public beatings. Six years after becoming Keeper, in 3476 A.L., Orin and Helena welcomed their first child, Orin Delon II. Nine years later would see them blessed with a second child, this time a daughter, Oriana Delon. Orin rarely discusses his other two children, Perseus Delon and Petre Delon, who were sadly stillborn 18 years ago on the Night of the Seven Comets.

Personality:
Orion tends to be a patient man, just as quick to listen as to speak. He will hear others counsel but will be decisive when he feels he must to protect the greater good. He has little stomach for fighting and violence, having seen too much over the years that the Draconians simply have too strong of a monopoly on power and violence. Orion believes it is better to make the sacrifice of the few to protect the many. Orion generally remains detached and unemotional. The only time he seems to react with particular emotion of any kind is with regards to his, especially when reminded of Perseus and Petre. Orion would say he is not a good man or a bad, but just a man.Relationships
