D'eka
A D'eka (Gotthikós: "ten") is a senior member of a Kost'oum'i within the Antak'yan military. Roughly equivalent to a sergeant or squad leader in the Astra Militarum, he uses a pulse carbine and is considered the leader of the warriors of the Kost'oum'i so equipped (the "evens"). There is often tension between him and the Kost'oum'i's As'sos as to who is the higher ranking (Antak'yan combat doctrine is unclear on this, and it varies depending on the nature of the mission and the composition of the Kh'eri chosen for a particular engagement).
Qualifications
Some length of service as a warrior in a Kat'astrom'a and demonstrated leadership ability.
