Razi's mother left when Razi was only ten years old. It was at this point that Jedidiah Wood brought Razi to Honeyshore and it was here he was hired at Thorneheart Manor as a groundskeeper. He earned a comfortable life for himself and his daughter, but his wife's abrupt exit left him heartbroken and distant. Razi was left to emotionally fend for herself, and she kept to herself for the most part. When her father passed a few years later, Sapphire Thorneheart offered Razi a place to live and a job, which Razi accepted. From the age of sixteen onward, she lived at Thorneheart Manor and worked in the kitchens and, later, on the grounds as she provided for herself.
