Lodi is a physically fit and healthy Pachian. He has red hair which he keeps cut fairly short, with blue-green eyes and a pale complexion. In his youth he is lean but not particularly muscular, but he puts in the effort to becoming stronger after he marries Marns.

Lodi is smart and curious from a young age. He has an aptitude for figuring out how things work and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. His understanding of physics and mechanics is strong and is something he's always had an interest in.
He is committed to his family and to those he loves. He is easily led by those who he cares about, but can be ruthless when it comes to those outside that small circle. He can also be judgemental of those who he doesn't consider as smart as him.

Lodi and Rin grew up in the same family. While Rin is four years older than Lodi, she loves her brother and admires his intelligence, although she doesn't always show it. Lodi is less good at hiding his hero worship of his older sister. He looks up to her and the confidence she exudes.

Lodi and Marns met when Rin was taking her first rebellious action and stayed in contact, meeting up when they could initially to talk about Rin, but later just to see each other. They married in 282 PT and had four children together.
