Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Rin is a fit and healthy Pachian with bright red hair and blue-green eyes. She has a naturally lean build but spends a lot of her life outdoors and as a result is muscular too. She has soft pink skin and freckles, a strong jaw and firm features.

Apparel & Accessories

She prefers to dress in traditionally Macran outfits, and as soon as she is able to she starts applying Kired to her arms and neck.

Born in 259 PT (using the Primian calendar) to proud Macran parents Karn and Seri, Karinth grew up in the city of Nuskan.
When she was 4 years old, her younger brother Lodi was born and brought joy and frustration in equal measure to both Rin and her parents. She had a relatively normal childhood, running with her friends and learning the secrets of the swamps.
As the signing of the Peace Treaty with the Primians neared as she entered her pre-teen years, tensions in the city rose and Rin was not immune to it. She often overheard her father talking about his distrust of the Primians and she followed his example. At 12 she was sneaking into Primian compounds and listening in on conversations.

Rin has a strong sense of right and wrong and has a tendency to see the world that way. As she gets older she begins to understand that there are shades of grey but she struggles to recognise or appreciate them for the rest of her life.
She is naturally inquisitive and has a great mind for learning. She gathers and holds information in a way that others sometimes don't expect or underestimate.
She has been called stubborn and hardheaded, but to her, it is about having the courage of her convictions and sticking to her commitments. As a result, she doesn't always have a lot of sympathy for people who don't follow through or whom she feels don't honour their commitments.

History

Lodi and Rin grew up in the same family. While Rin is four years older than Lodi, she loves her brother and admires his intelligence, although she doesn't always show it. Lodi is less good at hiding his hero worship of his older sister. He looks up to her and the confidence she exudes.
