Threadmas
Each Needleday, Tailormoon, the Church of the Tailor celebrates the carnival of Threadmas. An arts festival with performances and exhibitions, the main attraction is the festival parade, with homemade floats, banners and costumes, dancing and music. Artisinal of street vendors sell finely decorated streetfood to the crowd, and families will traditionally serve a delicate tapestry pastry known as Arass Patisserie for their post-parade meal, which is normally decorated by one or several members of the family a few days in advance due to the timeconsuming nature of the pastry weaving.
In past years, the noble Laureat Family participated in the parade. However, since the Laureat's demise, their duties under the Tailor were taken up by straight-laced Vizier Victor Dargent-Laureat. His wife, Viziera Satine Dargent-Laureat, now attends the parade alone.
