Looking for My Servant, Part 1
General Summary
After a dissapointing venture to Fjordhaven to see an arena match Nihilus and Grud returned to West Haven with only a minor altercation with the guards of the city on the way. Nihilus decided it was finally time to look for his missing servant Musashi. With the help of a local spellcaster named Alakazam and rigourous research Nihilus determined his servant must have been taken by the angelic army that appeared during the Second Crusade. The only person Nihilus knew that was well learned in the outer planes was his former magister Diavolo. Heading to the devil worshippers temple Grud, Nihilus, and Zabur found him just finishing the preparations to summon a servant of hell. Curious to see the results the group remained to watch the ritual. Unfortunately the ritual failed. Diavolo frustrated by this requested Nihilus help fund a second attempt in exchange for a favor. With Nihilus' help Diavolo completed the preperations again, but before he could begin the ritual, a booming voice filled the chamber. The devil Diavolo tried to summon had been enraged by his first attempt, and now it was exacting its revenge. Diavolo found himself being lifted off the floor by an invisible force. His arms ripped away from the summoning circle hard enough to snap them. His hands were then forced open and a red orb was dropped into his palm, causing the would be summoner to dissapear. Then the would be summoner dissappeared, leaving Zabur, Nihilus, Grud, and his humble servant Thynexicas alone in the summoning chamber.
