Looking for My Servant, Part 4: The Price of a Soul

General Summary

After a swift meeting with Eklektos the group found out Diavolo was currently on the second level of hell being held in contract negotiations. Eklektos very reluctantly agreed to meddle with the contract negotiations on behalf of Nihilus as long as Runa assisted him.

While waiting Nihilus and Grud wandered the city, finding their way to a land zoning office, where Nihilus chose to get permitting to build an embassy within the ninth circle of hell, hoping to make use of it later. Promising ownership of the property to a man he traded places with in line so he could get around restrictions around needing to be a citizen of the city. Grud growing tired of waiting made a gnome into a snack before leaving with Nihilus and Zabur to go find Runa.

Runa and Eklektos having arrived in Dis headed for the Iron Citadel, Runa napping in her cauldron most of the way there. Nihilus, Zabur and Grud arrived to find Runa waiting alone in the foyer. Eklektos returning after an alarmingly long time motioning for the four of them to follow, where they were finally able to reunite with Diavolo and begin negotiations with the devil that had captured him, Kaelraus. After some discussion over ownership of Diavolo a contract was forged, and the four were allowed to return home with Diavolo in tow, quickly dispersing to begin preperations to continue what Nihilus had tried to start.
