Looking for My Servant, Part 6: A Sea of Knowledge
General Summary
Arriving in Selune's realm offered no moment of reprieve for the group. Having to battle the guardians of the gate then descend into the depths of the shimmering water to escape the reinforcements from overwhelming them. Along the ocean floor Nihilus discovered a small, fortified entrance to a cave. Swimming inside the party found the cave was inhabited by cultists of Shar. With allies found Nihilus offered some sound advice in exchange for healing, supplies, and information. While they were eager to offer the first two, information would come at a cost. A group of celestial privateers under the command of Savin had been hounding their bases. Nihilus agreed to take care of the threat in exchange for information on the whereabouts of his most faithful servant.
It was a brutal battle, leaving Grud rather bloodied, but in the end, the crew of the ship was slain, and the party returned to the Shar cultist's base. Now with all the supplies and information they needed, the party took a moment to rest and prepare before heading out to finally save Musashi.
