Synod of Wisdom
Wisdom, that is the requirement to join the council. Thousand year old Burgeonend god warriors are thus the only members. For through time, they have been granted endless wisdom through experience, education, and raw ability.
Six members make up this council. Each are the foremost example of the Supremacys tenats and arcane power.
Career
Qualifications
One must meet one of two qualifications to be considered for a position on the Synod. You must have been a founding Burgeond of the Supremacy, of which less than ten now exsist. A different qualifiction one might have is that they are also, or are, a member of The Magnified. These two qualfications narrow down the pool of canidates to less than two dozen Burgeonend.
Career Progression
Before one can meet those qualifictions there is a long process that must be completed. First, only Supremacy citizens can get to the second step in the process. Foreigners are not able to progress further, so attaining that position is vital.
Any Supremacy Citizen may attempt to join the Thousand Dunes as a worshiper of Ficium and a Burgeonend. While within this religous group one must stand out. Priests of the faith who excercise understanding, application, and excellence within the tenet of the faith can become a member of The Granulated.
Granulated are often seen as nobility or religious leaders within a medium to large community, so the role is coveted. On top of the respect the role offers, one is automatically qued for the long line of people wanting to become Burgeonend. Over ninty percent of granulated do no become Burgeoned. The few that do under go the ritual of Inversion.
Inversion is a magical ritual that takes place at the relic building know as the Hourglass Altar. The Hourglass in less than ten minutes turns a mortal being into a demi god of equivelant power to any of the Full Slivers on Potestatem.
Burgeoned are seen as the god rulers of relgioion, cities, and in war. Only a few hundred Burgeoned exsist in the entire Supremacy at any given time. Those who stand out among them as powerful, blessed, or something similar are promoted to become The Magnified. The magnified rule over the major cities along the Hazfen River or important relics such as the Hourglass.
As mentioned before Magnified can also then become members of the Synod of Wisdom that rule the country. A special secret ritual is done on those who join the Magnified that grant them greater powers than their Burgeoned siblings.
