Hazfen Supremacy

Welcome piteous traveler. The glorious Hazfen Supremacy embraces any who would thrall themselves to divine guidance. Wisdom, craft, potential, and guidance all slaves themselves to longevity. Who better than the Gods to lead us? The Hazen Desert has been shaped by the Burgeonend . From the most common slave, to The Granulated who guide our cities, all the way up to The Magnified who lead us into each new over each dunes possibility. New grain of sand the falls to the hourglasses bottom doesn't know a glorious moment within our borders! All who enter know this, The Hazfeni people, the Burgeonend, and the desert will rise to a golden shimmering age once more! All else is but a mirage!

Structure

A theocratic empire, a large council of Burgeonend god warriors guide the day to day life of the empire. They are positioned to the wisest half to two dozen creatures in the empire. The Cadence is the voice of the council and breaks ties slash deals with matters that affect the whole empire.

Culture

Dedication, to the Burgeond. Fervor, for your work. Respect, for your fellow Hazfeni. Through these tenats the culture of the Hazfen will become understanable. Without these morals the desert will claim the empire. Traitors, the lazy, and selfish, will all bring ruin to their people.   Ficium followers dominate the culture of the Hazfen. As the ruling organization in government, relgion, and military, all aspects of life are heavily influenced by the religion.   This shows in day to day activties. Long work weeks in the harsh conditions provide the constant repair and supply needed in the desert. Through this Slastratum provide much of the hardest of this sunbaked labor.   Lazyness is a heretical action, and usefulness or practiciality are worshiped. While this has allowed the nation to prosper many races of peoples, it had often stepped on those already down. Faith being a core tenant of the culture has resulted in a focus on higher purposes and a more communal view of the self. Indivulistic people are often outsed, if they are not at a high level of authority.

Food and Drink

The deserts conditions do not lend themselves to the farmer. Without the Hazfen river very few crops could be grown throught the sun bleached land of the Hazfen. Luckily hardy crops such as alfalfa, , small grains (for hay), onions, carrots, peaches, pears and nectarines still find their way in the harsh sun. Many of these crops actually have to be grown in the hottest of conditions, or they will not thrive.   Alfalfa provides the nutrients for large herds of livestock to survive. Through this meats are plentiful in the diets of the Hazfeni. Figs and dates are stapel household food. The two will not grow in cold conditions so the desert is perfect for the two crops. Chickpeas and other ingredients for hummus grow in the east Hazfen farms in great quantites.   The river also allows many crops to grow easily even in the hot sun. Fish are farmed out of Rek Lake plentifully. Beers and breads grow from the many grains that thrive on the river banks.

Dress and Fashion

The people's clothing is simple wraps and scarves that can be wash easily and thrown about the body in many styles. These long clothes are also easy to dye and manufacture in a land of scarcity. Footwear is often sandels or open topped slide on shoes. The lowerclass utilize scarves to protect their heads from the sun. Higher class indivudals have taken to wearing large brimmed hats with long transparent coverings to hang about themselves.   Clothing usually sampels the warmer range of colors. Oranges, reds and yellows are used for decoration while brown and tan colors are simpler. Cold colors are used for flamboyance and richer decorations to stand out, and show wealth.   Hair is shorn short for both genders, many men going fully bald, and women going to no longer than shoulder length hair. The wealthy will almost always go fully bald to show their dedication to practicallity, with longer hair having a stigma of lazyness or indulgence.
