Burgeonend
Those who lead in the Hazfen Empire are known as the Burgeoned. They are those who have received the temple blessing and become demi-gods. Any who live beyond their race years, wield huge power, and exhibit other immortal properties are usually those known as the Burgeoned. One may gain this title through great feats as well.
Qualifications
The Granulated are those up for promotion to the rank of Burgeond. The difference often is need for more burgeond, level of influence of the granulated themself, or connections within the existing burgeond. Throughout history it has not been uncommon for soldiers who lay down their life, then survive, to be promoted in times of war. During peace or prosperity only those who impress existing Burgeond in person or who truly change the empire will receive the Inversion ritual that makes one into a burgeond.
Appointment
Inversion literally changes a person into a Burgeond. A rank and an actual state, the Burgeond truly are different than regular commonfolk.
Benefits
Burgeond experince long life spans that usually last ten times longer than their race can normally expect. As the direct hands of Ficium, the prominent religion, Burgeond are considered high priests, if not demi gods by the populace. Special treatment in all Aspects of life allow them to life comfortably and in the good graces of most Hazfeni.
Growth After Inversion
Many Burgeond slowly aqure power throughout their long lives. Due to the fact that less than one thousand Burgeond have ever existed, the methods of growth in these uniquely magically invested indviduals is mysterious. While unknowbale droves of peopel have gained, grown and died with Temple Slivers of Divinity, giving much data to work with, Burgeonds seperate smaller pool is a murky depth. Burgeond reports on what allows them to grow magically like slivers are contradictory, irregular, unproven, and the like. Here are some of the methods reported by several Burgeond, unique methods also exsist but you will have to dig into deeper tombs than this to learn of them. I suggest going to specfic Burgeonds temple's if you want those. The Magnified
Those who become Magnified go through a second Inversion ritual that is known to be dangerous. Though the benfits are marked in the huge gap of physical, arcane, and mental power between Burgeond who have done this and those that have not. he most obvious growth is those who become The Magnified who are lead the largest cities, armies, and most holy area's of the supremacy. This method of growth is the most proven, consistent, and reliable method for a Burgeond to grow. Though information on those who failed a second Inversion, and what the qualifications for it remain hidden by the Synod of Wisdom. The Path of Riz Ath
Nearly a hundred Burgeond throughout history have attested to this method. This makes it the second most reliable method to magnification. Through journeying throug the eleven orginal Burgeonds tombs, a Burgeond is able to increase their abilitiy with certainty. Though their tombs locations and dangers are closely guarded secrets. Half of those who guard the secrets died shortly after learning them. Ressurection of these figures for more than a few minutes proves fruitless for unknown reasons. Thus the fear of this method is great, as gaining immortallity only to die to a danger that prevents ressurection is quite the tragedy. The path obviously did not exsist for the first eleven Burgeond so their method of growth is completely up to theory and the below methods. The only recorded Burgeond to have completed all eleven tombs in history is Zoble Ex, current Cadence of the Supremacy. Several dozen recorded Burgeond have partially completed the path. Nearly a hundred have died in it.Classical
Subtle growth is marked before that step comes. Many Burgeond report that their bodies have a repulsion to the slivers of Potestatem. Thus they must resort to classical methods of growth such as learning and training. Through their increased fortitude and lifespan this often yields great results. Many Burgeond are masters in one or more fields of art, science, combat, magic, and more.Flicker Allignment
A rare but most intresting method of growth for Burgeond is through the investigation of their flickers. Something in the Inversion rituals links a indvidual to their future. While at first this occurs all at once, it appears to open a gateway of sorts to a wider awareness of one's owns choices. This is to the point one can become fully aware of what their life might have been like. Burgeond report seeing flickers of themself performing difference choices, appearing differently, or simply moving in another direction. Those who have pursued these flickers for several weeks or months report gaining memories that aren't theirs. In a few edge cases Burgeond have reported assembeling, alligning with, or understanding these flickers, and then gaining their strongest traits. Whether these flickers be other timelines, material planes, alternate dimensions, the future or past, and other theoretical creations is unknown as only a dozen or so well recorded cases exsist.Worship and Praise
Burgeond insist that greater praise, worship, and fervor from their followers increases their rituals benefits. This is not proven and many dismiss it as a theory at best. This may be due to the fact that The Temple Spirits, heresy in Burgeond land, functions much the same.History
Burgeond come in generations. The exact number is debated but nine is the correct answer. The first generation had eleven Burgeond. Riz Ath was the first of the first generation. Lirende Aelsonfaere, and Golden Dawn Armor, and Susan are the only confirmed living first generation Burgeond still alive. Though this is countered by the fact they have tombs.
Since then eight generation of Burgeond have come and gone. Each one is slightly larger than the last, with the current ninth generation already over fifty in total. Many of the second through eight generation are still alive today.
First Generation Tombs, The Path of Riz Ath
Burgeond report that visiting the actualy coffins of each of the first generation Burgeond causes signifigant growth to their own abilites. Many of the Burgeond from that generation died when Destroyer Breath was still clingining to Potestatem soil. The monsters and air from this phenonmona made unprotected graves of powerful people a huge risk to the saftey of the early Supremacy. So that mixed with the great thanks of the people, their tombs were made huge, and extremely difficult to access. As thanks to the still living Burgeond, their tombs were also created, but left open as Temple's for people to visit while they yet still lived. Their locations are still hidden to this day despite that being the Synods statement on their existence. What little information is known points to the living Burgeonds, and Riz Ath's being extremely dangerous and reclusive. Thus many deign to seek out the sealed tombs of the long dead first generation members who have mostly faded to the annals of history. As mentioned earlier, dying in these Tombs seems to prevent ressurection for the soul beyond a few minutes. I was able to gather one thing. Several ninth generation Burgeond noted for their fervor have had extended leaves of absence to visit the Sigh Dungeon in the north as a 'purge' trip. These trips were taken with little backup that actualy Sigh purge trips would take so I suspect one of the tombs to be in the dungeon, or near it.

Burgoned is a general term almost synonyms for leader. Low ranking Burgeond will often be leaders of small military forces, leaders in smaller settlements, secure trade routes, and other important but small scale tasks. Burgeond are similar to nobility in that they have great control over all aspects of the Hazfen Empire. The most influential Burgeonend will be leaders in the religious government on the council or as the one and only Cadence. The council and Cadence rule over all aspects of life, from law, to war.
