Remus Lupin
Remus John Lupin (a.k.a. Moony, Lang'er)
- Remus was close friends with James and Lily. He tried to raise Harry after the Potters died, but was unable to. He brought Harry to the Dursleys (PS Chap 1) but had to keep a distance so as not to reveal Harry's location. He moved to Shanghai, China and studied martial arts with the Wen Family for ten years. He checked in on Harry throughout the years and sent Sean Figg to protect Harry when he was subordinated by the Dursleys. He made Petunia take a picture of Harry every May to keep track of his physical development (PS Chap 3). In May 1881, Remus took a position at White Star Line in order to frame Vernon Dursley for embezzling (larceny) to punish him for his abuse of Harry (PS Chap 5). He intercepted in an attempted kidnapping of Harry by a deatheater (PS Chap 3) and reminded Petunia of his presence by sending her Lily's music box and Lily and James' wedding portrait. He also infected Marge Dursley with rabies to avenge Harry for her assault of him (PS Chap 5). This left Petunia and Dudley homeless and impoverished to punish them for their cruelty. When Remus took Harry from the Dursleys, he also brought Rose Dursley (Evans), Sean Figg, and Marie with him to Edinburgh.
