The Toad's Boardwalk
The Toad's Boardwalk is a large island located in the center of the Astral Sea. It is the center of a new tradition: departed souls who do not wish to depart for the afterlife until they see their loved ones again will choose to live on the boardwalk instead of passing on to their appropriate afterlife. This way they can meet their friends or loved ones again, and ensure they pass on to the same outer plane. The Traveler spoke of this place in glowing terms during Session 13: Gambling with Gods and Planes, and the party saw it for themselves in Session 25: The Toad's Boardwalk.
The city is large and beautiful, with an extremely diverse populace including a significant number of Feathren, a race not typically seen on the Prime Material Plane. The residents literally have all the time in the world, and therefore move about lazily and at their own pace.
