North Reach

North Reach is a region of Zantor, bordering the Kingdom of Bartol and the region of Santar. It is located along the coast of the Eastern Ocean north of Santar.
While considered by many to be part of Bartol, the rulers of the lands of the North Reach are not sworn to the direct service of the Golden Throne of Bartol. Instead, they are seen as "protectors" of the lands they rule, in alliance with Bartol. This is why the lands of the area are sometimes referred to as the "Protectorates of North Reach", though almost always only by those in Bartol itself.
