The Line

The Line is a series of fortifications established by the Kingdom of Eridane long ago. These forts serve as a first line of defense against incursions from the Western Lands, especially orc bands and others coming down from the Invincible Mountains.
The forts, traditionally listed in order from south to north, are Lefenas, Sanasera, Myolon, Jaath Ennore, Entheas, Serin, Olyan, Themar, and Thalas. Each fort is named after a hero of the Army of Eridane.
The middle fort Entheas is commonly referred to as the “Center of the Line”, and serves as the main logistics and barracks for The Line. It is located near the village of Omelenor, at the meeting of the Tiatha and Rimba rivers. Entheas is also the oldest Elvish settlement in the Western Lands, and the historical target for orcish incursions.
