Maria Scarlatti
The granddaughter of Rodrigo Scarlatti and younger sister of Bianca Scarlatti, Maria was a wizard who wanted to further her magical education at a university in Darkon. The most direct route to Darkon was through Falkovnia, so despite the danger, that was the route she took. In Silbervas, she caught the eye of the vampyres, who kidnapped her and took her to the feeding houses. She was still in Ludzig's "wine cellar" when Vanya rescued the prisoners there.
Maria returned to Borca about two weeks ago. According to her family, she's exhausted from her journey and recuperating in privacy. Vanya met her at Bianca's estate and found that she was practically catatonic. She's refusing food as a way of passively killing herself, but she did smile and eat after Vanya played countersong for her.
