Rodrigo Scarlatti
The grandfather of Bianca and Maria Scarlatti, Rodrigo is the head of the Scarlatti family. He has been trying to get his foot in the door of the De Carlo Trading Company for months, with his overtures becoming more and more aggressive. Two weeks ago, coinciding with Maria's return from Falkovnia, his attitude went from "browbeating and refusing to take no for an answer" to "screaming threats and abuse;" he had a meeting with Alessandro de Carlo that was so heated that Silvia de Carlo feared they would come to blows, and wrote him a letter afterwards that was downright unhinged. Rodrigo was supposed to meet with Alessandro at the Golden Swan after sending the letter, but Bianca came to the meeting instead. After the meeting, Alessandro refused to talk about anything except selling the company.
According to Bianca, Rodrigo doesn't know about her captured vampyres. He believes Maria suffered horribly in some Falkovnian prison camp and constructed a fanciful story about vampires to protect her mind from the truth. If he were to discover Bianca's suspicion that Vanya is a Falkovnian agent, he'd take steps to avenge his family.
