Star Ranger Core

The Star Ranger Core is an extraplanular organization and paramilitary organization formed primarily of Aarakocra from the Plane of Air. Containing numerous legendary heroes, the Core can be found throughout the multiverse, protecting many worlds from extraplanular incurssions. Existing in small outposts, the guild keeps an eye on portals and unwanted entries and tries to deal and mitigate them.
Based in their fortress within the Great City of Aaqa, the Core wields most of its power in the plane of air and Astral Sea. The guild has born many legendary heroes, including the Core Captain Aakoscru. The Core is currently holding Fisk for his crimes of trying to destroy many creatures within the multiverse and dangerous summoning and binding of demons.

Structure

As a military structure, the SRC is headed by the Master Ranger, with Ranger Captains acting as regional and divisional heads with their own squads. The Headquarters contains more specialised roles, such as quartermasters, science chiefs, military police, and tacticians. Promotion through ranks is granted through performance, with well performing squad members being granted their own role as a captain.

Culture

The Star Ranger Core is barely known on the material plane, but their hidden presence keeps many creatures from invading or contaminating the mortal world.

Public Agenda

The Star Ranger Core is a paramilitary group based in the Great City of Aaqa, composed of majority Aarakocra the organization is devoted to protecting the Multiverse from extra-planular threats. Having outposts in most planes, the core try to keep hostile creatures to their own planes and stop invasions or incurssions into other worlds. In the wider multiverse, the Core are recieved well as they will protect any plane from incurssion.

The Rangers have their home base within the Great City of Aaqa in an ancient fortress that once belonged to the wind dukes. The current rulers of Aaqa gifted the building to the core in exchange for protection, with the rangers making several alterations and adding internal and external defences.

A floating prison deep within the astral sea. Also known as the rock, this asteroid was once believed to be impregnable and inescapable until a band of criminals assembled by the Handler, the last active member of the Cult of Rangarok, broke notorious criminal and wannabe god-killer Fisk out of prison.

Archangel

An elite ranger who strikes fear in the most dangerous creatures throughout the multiverse, Archangel is a mysterious Aarakocra with metallic golden wings who was seen trying to stop the prison break at TASM-1968.

History

The Star Ranger Core has an uncertain origin, but has existed for approximately 1000 years. Although a small sized group, the guild weilds considerable assets through their training and martial expertise. The guild briefly tried to intervene in the Blood War, but had their numbers half and permantly withdrew from The Nine Hells and The Abyss.
