Shikibu's Rest
This facility is where the Trailblazers of the Wilderness Department prepare for their various expeditions around the star. Whether it is for collecting materials, charting new territories, or simply exploring in search of new flora and fauna. Additionally, many Trailblazers keep their own personal barracks here as well.
Wilderness Research Room
A small research room and library accessible to all the Ravens of the Consortium, especially those of the Department of Wilderness. This room is meant for meetings and get-togethers for Ravens from different subgroups within the Wilderness Department, especially for collaboration projects, or just as a quiet space. The Globoratory
A room cataloging all sorts of maps and locational information. Cartographers submit new maps here, where they’re taken in for review. Ecologists can easily reference maps from different time periods to compare and contrast ecological shifts. Encyclopedias full of ecological information of all types can also be found in this atlas library.Mission Command
A meeting room with a large map of the known world situated in the center of an equally large table. This room is both used for planning expeditions, deciding on locations that need to be mapped, or discussing important matters. Ravens specializing in travel and wilderness survival are led by a small committee of more experienced trailblazers, who then report to the Head Conservationist as needed.Project M.A.P.
A passion project from some of the older trailblazers in the Wilderness Department, project M.A.P. (Map of the Aetherial Planet) is a cooperative effort with the Department of Aetheric Research. Using light reflections in the ocean, the goal is to construct an aetherical recreation of all of Hydaelyn, down to the most minute details and viewable from nearly every angle. Of course this is a massive and frustrating project that has only seen limited results, especially as the map requires constant updating and thus fine tuning of the crystal foci used to conjure the image. Still, those who see the display are often impressed with the level of detail and the simple beauty of the reflected image.
