Ryoten's Truck

An older model LNPS Offroad Bronco modified by the Montanan Mountains Pack after having been bought by Ryoten. The truck has seen better days, having been repaired many times over and some repair jobs having been done better than others.   Notoriously within the pack, the truck is known as a 'Mudbucket' due to it's general filthy exterior and showing every bit of dirt, mud, and pollen on it due to it at one point having been painted white. The doors have been repainted with the pack's logo, although the old logo of the Laramidia National Park Service is still somewhat visible undeath. Ryoten has heavily personalized the interior and covered the back flank of the truck with stickers, most of which being his own merch for his vlog, The Montana Memo.

Power Generation

Like most LNPS vehicles, Ryoten's is an electric/aura hybrid, primarily running off of electricity but also capable of being powered directly by the driver's aura in case of emergency. The truck is equip with solar glass on the back window and sunroof to provide minimal power and charging when idle or off.

Communication Tools & Systems

Ryoten's truck is outfitted with multiple radio and GPS antennas, in the past used by the Laramidia National Park Services for communication with the parks' firewatch towers, ranger stations, and general operation buildings.

Additional & auxiliary systems

The truck has a variety of tools and components for handling rough terrain and emergency situations. A compartment in the truck houses a spare tire, snow chains, and various tools for repairing and replacing broken parts, which are often stored there.   Ryoten also keeps a gun locker in the truck's trunk, most often housing a hunting rifle, shotgun, and the respective ammo for each under heavy lock and key. This locker is bolted to the tuck's inner roof, often locked with a padlock and combination lock at the same time, the key's location and combination only known by Selene Cortez and Ryoten himself to prevent anyone else in the pack, the children especially, from getting into it.   The truck cab also is often utilized as shelter by the pack when set up at a temporary camp or on the move, almost always for injured members of the group and young children. As such, the trunk is outfitted with a mattress, several pillows, blankets, and robust emergency aid kit. Many times it has been used as triage area, with privacy curtains attached to the trunk door and window for those receiving medical care.   Ryoten often uses the truck for caring for the pack's kids, most notably for their education. He charges phones, laptops, and other devices from the truck's solar panels directly to use for their schooling. Additional educational materials, such as books, are often stored in the back passenger compartment.
