Zhalsuth, Allak, and Salethar have all been stopped while Oni, Mex Vultar, and Kell live to tell the tale. The face of Grim is left in ruin as not every settlement was equipped to handle the rise in demonic presence that occurred over the campaign. Feron, Koledo, and Dher Boldar have all fallen while Esterwood, Phywell, Ulford, and Crystmas have been weakened (Crystmas, in particular, would have fallen without the efforts of the party, and Koledo only fell due to James' assassination of the jarl).

Oni and Mex Vultar fade into myth and legends as they return to the mountains Shin had originally hailed from. A dense hailstorm perpetually obscures the area, but those who venture near claim to hear the distant roars of a dragon coming from the storm. Kell, having been at least partially responsible for the death of several archdevils, journeys back into Hell. In the end, Kell could never sate his bloodlust and opted for a life of destruction.   Feyreach's strong walls and well-trained guard were the least affected by the events of the campaign. However, they found themselves without a librarian. Shaylyn Nadaar, a powerful Loremaster Wizard, moved into the Altruistic Archives in Sibriex's place. She would eventually establish the 5th noble house of Feyreach by using the knowledge and artifacts housed within the archives.   Over the next several decades, the rest of the settlements on Grim would rebuild. In Koledo's absence, Crystmas becomes the main hub for trade with other nations. Thus, the Western side of Grim expanded. Feron was rebuilt as an extension of Ixam, rather than a village under Phywell. In fact, Ixam's resources were the leading factor in the reconstruction period.   As for James, he had gathered all three Books of the Leviathan. They drove him insane, and he eventually used them to make a wish that would change Rhune forever.
