Who is the Author

Welcome! I'm Rin, storyteller and aspiring otherworldly entity. The other nerd to my username is my husband, my main collaborator and biggest fan. I've been writing stories and making up worlds for most of my life, and have been using World Anvil to help with that since April 2023. I mostly work within speculative fiction spaces, using alternate realities to make sense of this one.

What is an Overworld

Overworld is a term from video games for a place that connects to all other places, levels, or zones within the game. This particular overworld connects you to my other worldbuilding projects. It also houses general guides I've written for the community, as well as event-specific articles like reading challenges.
Storing all that information here lets my worldbuilding projects stay focused on their goals, no longer cluttered with meta content. It also lets you choose what sort of notifications you'd like to get from me, if any.

Where to Start

There's no order to anything here, and each of my other worlds have their own introductions. You can start wherever you feel most like exploring, using the navigation on the side (or on mobile, the icon). Some places that might be most appealing are listed below.
