Pride

Content warning: Liberal use of "the q-word".
While this word has historically been used against the LGBTQIA+ community, it's gone through massive transitions to be reclaimed and used as a more empowering catch-all phrase instead. This is the context I use the word in, but some people may still feel the rawness of the hatred it once carried.

Pride Events

Pride is a concept near and dear to my heart. There isn't an official WA event for it, but I try to do something for it every year, whether on my own or hosting an event for the community. June is also Summer Camp prep month, when much of the community is hyped and getting ready for the largest event of the year. As such, I try to keep these events fairly low-effort to not start July at an energy deficit.

• Initiate discussion on what queerness means in your worlds
