Samael Beaufort (a.k.a. Sam)

Samael Beaufort, born in Belmore of Scalmoore and raised by his two parents, he grew up aspiring to join the Order of the Knights of Temperance. When Samael turned his family help him when they could and pushed him in the right directions. When Samael was 16, a few high ranking priests came to Belmore in search for new recruits in the Order. One took in particular interest in Sam's skills in physical combat and his keen sense for battle strategy. This man decided to sponsor Sam propelling him into the schooling of becoming a knight.
Once he became of age to leave his home, he had a falling out with a childhood friend, Veronica Vetra who began her trek for Balidan. Samael leaving for Leadenfort in order to continue his studies as a knight before serving under the Church of the Prevailing Man for some time in Grimsgate. After this, Samael was forced to flee the church after he found himself in the middle of an Otherworldly anomaly.
During this incident he was left partially blinded and plagued with mental trauma. In the chaos of what transpired Samael, in fear of his new found issues and the churches stance on things as such, he left in a hurry. Abandoning the church and his duties as a knight, and beginning his voyage to Balidan.

Identifying Characteristics

Both of his eyes are partially blinded due to the incidents that occurred during his time with the church.

Apparel & Accessories

Normally seen in hardened leathers and chainmail plates. Wears clothes that are multifunctional as to stay prepared. Underneath his armors, he dons a white tunic with black pants and a simple pair of boots.

Education

Grew up in a non-magickal town under Scalmoore, and was taught the Tenets of Man. This paired with basic schooling was enough to propel him into learning the ways of being a knight. He began training with a sword as early as 12 and by 16 received a sponsorship to become a knight.

Motivation

Originally his motivations were to urge his ways through the Order of the Knights of Temperance, to be strong. But since the incident, the only motivations he's had are to stay alive and understand what's happening to him.
