In the wee hours of the night, several sailors reported a bright neon green light flashing over the northwestern waters. Within hours, a slimy, corrosive gray film began to encroach on the shores of Samarya. Beyond and beneath it, no life could survive. Ships and boats out that fateful day never returned. In the years to come, the kingdoms of Samarya would rise and fall according to how well they could adapt to a world now half a size smaller.
The amphibious tribes who survived the ruin of the sea soon began to fight for the most suitable land in Western Samarya: the Shielded Valley. Emerging victorious were the allied Oda Clan and Moon Isles Water Genasi, known as the Oda Kingdom. Together, they founded the city of Mizure.
Nagaru Oda invades Haiten in his first campaign as emperor.
Following the successful implementation of the Hizari Dam and the conquest of Haiten, Nagaru Oda claims control of the Silver Strait, establishing Odan reign beyond Western Samarya.
After a series of negotiations, Sooryapesh is taken in as a province of the Oda Empire. The city-state retained its government system, so as long as an Odan Empire representative was added to their legislature.
