Session 16: The Ravished~ Report

General Summary

Continuing from their detachment the group communicates with Braxten to receive their order of weapons, within those weapons included 5 +1 magical rifles with associated special damage which included 1D10 fire/force/poison/lightning/ or cold damage respectively. After training the camp on how to use the weapons, Arania informed the party  that now was the time to strike as the Sultan had gathered a party and the lessened security would allow them in unhindered. Once inside the group confronted the Sultan and he was knocked unconcious and locked within the family chambers. Once this occurred the group heard the call of the dragon and went to defend the city of Scorch. Once there, the party found Xevri and the Dragon and confronted them. During the fight, Xevri wished Mayhues to die with the allowance from the lich. As Mayhues laid dying Xevri was killed and the Dragon went on a torrent knocking Archibald close to death. Once the fight had concluded the party gave their final goodbyes to Mayhues. Once back at the palace the group concluded their fight with sleep, Irdi's last memory of Mayhue's being when she sat with her under the stars and Mayhue's mentioned how bright the stars and how they surely represented the bright future for all within Teras.  Just before succumbing to sleep the Lich parted the party with one simple sentence.  " If you all so choose to take their roles so badly then you will all experience the same loss. Come for me if you so wish.."
