Ecologist's Quarterly

Every three months the Ecological Institute publishes their quarterly report. No one asked them to publish this, but rather they take it upon themselves to report their findings to the community at large. The publication has a reputation for being, overly dense and difficult to read. Particularly because until recently, it was always published in Jargon. A unique offshoot of the Druidic language used by the naturalists.   But there are two bright upstarts who have rapidly risen to be Editors in Chief. Wilson and Gould have as sharp tongues and clear voices on the page. A bit more humor than might otherwise be expected. But they run a tight publication now. Though most articles are in Jargon, they'll pay for firsthand accounts and research done by anyone with relevant experience.   They seek first hand accounts of your encounters with exceptional creatures, in which you outline your suspicions of what kind of being it is, any weaknesses, strategies, or red flags in behavior to watch out for. They don't mind accepting things with multiple authors, it is quite ordinary to see that in the scientific field. They pay in Luminous Sapphire Marks .   One Mark per level for an article. Upon submissions of the article, make a Calligrapher's Tools with Charisma, Nature, or Medicine check. DC 20 to have a particularly compelling article and earn an aditional 5 Marks, slipped to you the next time you go past the Institute.
