Ylva (YIL VA)
Joybringer Ylva Galyndeal
A relatively young (in elven terms) woman who tends the multi-faith shrine in Ardrest. She is actually a Joybringer and devotee of Presralei, the elven aspect of Shivad'ress and works to spread happiness and goodness throughout the land. She settled in Ardrest over a generation ago, feeling that her limited powers were needed in a town that was (unknown to her) under the effect of the curses of the hag, Bergatha.
She played an early part in the adventures of the Frostyear Guardians by helping to defend the town of Ardrest during the night of the goblin attack (Chapter 1) and by guarding the entrance to the Goblin Mines (Chapter 2). Beyond that she is a hear of some skill and is currently (under the supervision of Flynndak Greenvalley) tending to the wounded Randal.
