Sector One

A Sector of space containing 28 known star systems. Sector One was cut off from the rest like every other corner of Mandate space after the Scream devastated the Jump Gate network. Some of the systems were lucky enough to manage self-sustenance, but many others fell to ruin. It is only in the last 100 years that the systems of Sector One have reestablished contact, and began to rebuild. The original name of the sector is largely clouded, due to the large loss of archival data and many years of ruin and misinformation. Its simple, modern moniker was adopted by general consensus as a hope for the future; that the people of this sector would restore the glory of humanities golden age.
