Tukker Crater

A mid-sized settlement near Pizhou's pole. Largely a mining town, it exports a large portion of the domestic metals used in high-tech manufacture.
A large portion of the city's population takes shelter in the derelict pre-scream ship at the settlement's center, especially in colder months. Not all are so lucky however, having to live in the many ramshackle residential districts outside the main city core. The districts have even grown to engulf the large mining elevator shafts that the majority of the residents take down to their place of work every day.
The settlement is a mining town, run by the Minock mining coalition, which controls several other smaller mining operations across Pizhou. Minock enforces very few safety standards or laws in the surrounding settlement itself, and as such the town has a shady reputation.
