Neko, dancer, and
Marketer for the
Order of the Black Cat.
Black Moon is perpetually cheerful about everything, and loves to express those feelings through exuberant dance or song. She also loves meeting new people, and is incredibly social and outgoing. The same traits that make her well loved and a perfect fit for the marketer position in her order, also demonstrate her naivety and allow her to be taken advantage of.
Appearance
Black moon has prominent neko ears on the sides of her head, covered in soft grey fur. Her head is covered in a mess of black hair that falls longer on either side than in the back, giving it the appearance of a downward facing crescent moon. She has silver colored eyes and usually wears a bright smile.
Personal History
Born to a single mother and sold shortly thereafter to a family which ran a
clothing store from the bottom floor of their home in the
High Quarter of
Ahonato. As is a common arrangement for Neko, she was obligated to work for the family without pay for eighteen years in exchange for room and board. The family named her Black Moon, in reference to her dark hair and the way it resembled a downward facing crescent from behind.
Black Moon showed no talent for tailoring, and didn't handle book keeping well either, but she was still a dedicated worker who kept everything clean and worked in the front of the shop as soon as she was old enough. She was energetic, warm, and likeable, frequently drawing business from people who stopped by to see her more often than they really needed clothing. In her sparse free time she wandered the city and enjoyed listening to musicians and bards, frequently singing and dancing along with their performances.
In S313, when her contract expired, she continued to work part time in the family shop. With more free time on her hands though, she began studying dance and performing more frequently. It was around this time that she met
Ryu Shiroma who was looking to recruit members to form an adventuring party. Although he had hoped to find someone with considerably more experience, he and his travelling companions were won over by her charming attitude and persistence. In time she joined them to form the
Order of the Black Cat and moved with them south of the city to
Koba's Point.
