His main contributions are in the increase in violence of the group and the expansion of its drug trafficking operations.

Personal history
Ires was born to the descendants of nomads who had settled in a small town several kilometers east of the Sicru River, on the Eoin side of the border. Much like anywhere else, they faced a large amount of discrimination due to blame placed on their people for the Sicru Battles. The slum in which Ires grew up was controlled by both Seraphim and Seraph Rae, although as he grew older, Seraph Rae gained a larger and larger footing within the community.
His parents were killed by Seraphim when Ires was ten. Orphaned and angry, he joined Seraph Rae as a ring and spent three years as an initiate in the gang. Even at that age, he gained a reputation for his charisma and violence. He gathered many of the other local rings into a miniature family under his arc and led them on jobs suited for spheres and full family members.
Ires became known as Cap Snap due to his short stature and his preferred method of attack, breaking knee caps and other leg bones to cripple his opponents. He killed a member of Seraphim, the one responsible for his parents' deaths, to fully join Seraph Rae. In the middle of the street, Ires jumped him and stabbed him 37 times before cutting off his penis, fingers, and ears. After this, he turned on the man's family and stabbed them as well, but was unable to kill them before local law enforcement arrived. He escaped and was put to work guarding those producing celestial, which at the time was a minor part of the group's profits.
A moderately powerful cael-esh, Ires began studying with the other esh in the production houses. After many years, he was able to consistently vary the effects and addictiveness level of the drug by changing how much oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon gas the plants were exposed to during growth. It was during this time that he developed a slight addiction to celestial from testing out different versions on himself.
Rising to the rank of arc at 17, he directed his family to push celestial in both the nomadic and urban communities. Along with this, he significantly increased the violence of his family's retaliation. Lastly, he created a more organized hierarchy within his family. By 22, he had expanded their territory and led them to become the richest in Seraph Rae. These successes caught the attention of the domae overseeing his area and Ires was given control over multiple families, becoming the first sub-domae.
With his new authority, he restructured all of the families he was now overseeing, but spent most of his time increasing the prevalence and potency of celestial. However, his violent ways caught up with him and he was captured by law enforcement during the beating of a Seraphim gang member. He escaped with the help of his domae and fled to Yzel, where he was given authority over a new set of families near Kanooshar.
Once more, he was able to make his territory both extremely wealthy and extremely violent. He used what he had learned in Eoion and brought that level of hyper violence to Yzel. Before his arrival, gang rivalries had been settled mostly with beatings. He brought mutilation and a significant increase in murder. The fights and deaths brought him a new name, Duster, for all of the 'dust ups' he got into with rivals. Ires also introduced using celestial for torture.
He would get his victims high and begin peeling their nails and skin from their bodies, using the hallucinations his most potent drugs brought to break their minds as well as their bodies. Some prisoners were kept for so long they became addicted to the drugs and switched sides, working for Ires in order to get more. He called these people his war dogs due to their desperation and the level of violence they would engage in just for a few sniffs of celestial.
Rumors spread of the war dogs and the suffering they were subjected to. These included that Ires kept them in a filthy barn, chained to a wall, and forced them to live as animals. Others said he had them rape one another for his amusement. Still more rumors circulated that he mutilated them after the torture was over and turned them into grotesque horrors. Rivals would submit to Ires or simply give up information once captured to avoid becoming a war dog.
His innovations in celestial made him a massive amount of money and he used his growing reputation as a celestial innovator and violent lunatic to obtain more and more power within the gang. Eventually, he became one of the cherin under the previous godhied, but behind the man's back, he consolidated power and at 28, challenged him for control and won. Soon after this, he brought in Kaja Onfroi to help run the accounting areas of the gang and then Castor Nilenna for recruitment.
Since then, he has continued to keep the gang highly organized. He also increased community programs in nomadic areas and the urban centers where they settled, using the goodwill generated to obtain allies among civilians despite the violent nature of the gang. His largest project is still the further development of celestial.
