Excalibur can cut through nigh-anything, even cutting space itself if the user so wishes it. It notably cut the demigod Godfrey, who had never been wounded before and severed the tie between the two Realms in a single blow.

• The White Blade of Fae Tears

Excalibur was blessed with the tears of the Fae royalty of Avalon when reforged by Queen Ygraine Le Fay, and as Fae tears can heal physical, mental, and spiritual wounds, Excalibur can do the same. It has been known to purge defilement from a body, sever the ties of Daemons from SOULs, and is fast enough to heal a heart as the same blade punctures it.

History

Meinir, wife of Freothul, Lord of Vættfangfold (Battlefield + World) now known as Teopheogar, crafted the sword Caledfwlch {ka-led-voolch} for her son Meurig, who used it in the defense of their Realm when some Empyrean's army sought to claim it. Meurig repelled the Empyrean, driving his sword through its flesh, but the battle took the life of his Lord Father. Lord Meurig Opharteg petitioned the Lord of the largest military force near his Realm, Lord Heraclius Constantine, and his Lady Wife, Gregoria Siotio, for their armed might in exchange for a sizeable portion of the trade route his family controlled. The young Lord was wed to Gregoria's youngest daughter, Rabiah, and when she was gat with his sons, he passed down the sword Caledfwlch.

The Realms that would eventually be known as the Kingdom of Britania were conquered by Flavius Opharteg Claudius Constantinus, the 7th son of Regent Meurig and his wife Rabiah, but by far the most ambitious. Flavius had earned the favor of Níðhöggr, the First Name of God and was granted the power of his Wyverns to wield in battle, which he did without abandon. When he established himself as Emperor, his brothers yielded the blade Caledfwlch unto him and it became a symbol of his lineage, the Ambrosius Lineage. He was wed to the Dragon Cultist Othur Fisummoss and sired many children before his death.

The 1st of Flavius' sons was Uther Ambrosius, who inherited Caledfwlch and used it to expand the reach of his father's empire before inheriting the throne. When the Dragons called on Uther to uphold his father's oath, he wielded it when leading his forces into a war with The Holy Order during The Second Of The Empyrean Wars & The Fall Of Dragon-King Níðhöggr when Her Grace, Hasadiah, the Second Name of God usurped Níðhöggr and brought about a new cosmological order to reality. Uther and his Knights were ultimately defeated but retreated with many of the surviving Dragons after Níðhöggr was imprisoned in the center of Yggdrasil. He immediately prepared for a siege and went to petition the Le Fay Dynasty of the Kingdom of Avalon for aid, as his own forces were severely depleted. Queen Ygraine, Monarch of Avalon agreed to aid Britania in a formal alliance, for a wedding to Uther to unite their bloodlines. This hallowed union was marked by the re-forging of the blade Caledfwlch into the legendary sword EXCALIBUR, blessed with fae majiks, multiplying Uther's power greatly.

Excalibur was used to launch an offensive on the Holy Order, an invasion force led by Godfrey the Golden. They penetrated into Britania, but were stopped at Teopheogar with the sacrifice of Queen Modthryth Opharteg to keep the Holy Order at bay. Uther avenged his cousins' death when he clashed blades with the demigod Godfrey, the shockwaves shaking the realm to its core. Excalibur looked pretty, but it more than pulled its weight, proof of Avalonian engineering and magecraft. Uther cut Godfrey, no more than half an inch just above his eye, but enough to shame him, and his wife Ygraine banished him from the Realms, drawing the 1st Holy Dragon War to a close. Excalibur kept Uther alive and prevented him from bleeding, but he suffered fatal wounds from Godfrey and was lucky to be alive.

Uther would live to fight once more with Excalibur, the 2nd Holy Dragon War circa 5724 χάρη, which saw Solomon, King of Kings launch a full-scale invasion of the Kingdom. Solomon was stopped at Teopheogar by Uther with Excalibur in hand riding the Dragon Biseroth. Solomon made it abundantly clear that he would not be leaving Britania without Uther's formal surrender, and he kept his word for 30+ long years. The climax of the war saw Godrick the Blighted penetrate the lands of Camelot and sack it, destroying the ancestral Seat of Dragon Power. In the end, Godwyn the All-Knowing would come to broker a peace summit in secrecy, ending the war just as Uther was approaching the end of his life.

The sword would be inherited by Prince Madoc, Uther's son, and heir, who was said to be a man of faith, not war. He did much for Camelot, but Excalibur served mostly as a symbol of his lineage than a tool of war. When Madoc died, it was passed to his son and heir, Prince Eliwlod, who used it to secretly plot with the Temple of Khaos to kill Her Grace, Hasadiah. But, as history will tell us, Judas and the Apostles deceived the young King and used him to further their own agenda. Hasadiah was murdered, Yggdrasil was defiled, and The Great War in Heaven began, one of the longest and bloodiest wars ever recorded, all that blood on Eliwlod's hands. With Excalibur in hand, he rode his dragon into battle against Judas to redeem what he could of his honor, but this too failed. Judas summoned Daemon King Guildirchurix who defiled the boy's body, mind, and SOUL, turning him into an Agent of Khaos, an Apostle of madness riding the Beast of Sin known as the Disgraced One.

The Disgraced One would use Excalibur extensively as a slave to Guildirchurix, suffering for an age until he was finally put out of his misery by his Lord Uncle, King Arthur Pendragon, the 5th Lord of Camelot. Fighting against his own nature, the Disgraced One would join with noble Arthur and deliver the Dragon's Justice to the foul daemon. With Guildirchurix slain, Eliwlod was finally free to return to himself, as broken and decrypt as he now was. Arthur pardoned him for his foolishness but the tarnished knight desired the justice of Excalibur. Arthur buried his nephew in Teopheogar with full honors. Arthur would become one of Excalibur's most famous wielders, using it extensively during the Great War when he led the Round Table Knights on their many crusades. Arthur's exploits are many and his legend is vast, but this passage is not about him, but rather his arms. Most notably, the sword was robbed from Arthur's body by his bastard-born son from an incestuous relationship with his half-sister, Mordred, King of the Black Winter. Mordred would wield Excalibur with his other arms when The Demon Lancelot, Beholder of the Word Legendary and King Gawain Pendragon, Lord of the Stars led an assault on his Realm of Erkwood.

After Mordred was put to the sword, Excalibur could have been claimed by Gawain, but he refused it out of respect to his King and friend, instead returning it to Arthur's first wife, MAB, in the 5th Dimension. The weapon was magically split into two lesser swords by his sons of MAB, Artorius Morgan and Artorius Patrike. The new swords were "Imperatoris Ensis" (Sword of the Fae Emperor) and "Gladiuscalibur" (Excalibur with the shape of a Gladius).

Excalibur is 1 of four swords that can be combined under the Law of Perfect Fours to create a Master Sword of immense power. The blades are The Ashikodo, the Sword of St. Michael, and the Edge of Dreamland.
