Excalibur, the Blade of War
The family sword of the House of Camelot is Excalibur, a blade forged in Avalon for King Uther Pendragon by Princess Morrigan le Fay, gifted to him during the 2nd Holy Dragon War. It was laid to rest in the lake of kings until King Madoc Pendragon ascended to the Throne, and once again when his son King Eliwlod Pendragon sat on the throne. When Arthur was called forward to be the next Pendragon, he leaped into the lake and retrieved the blade himself.

Excalibur is a modest sword for war but is enchanted to be unbreakable, the secrets of Avalon Magecraft. Additionally, while the scabbard is equipped, the user cannot bleed. Unfortunately, Arthur lost the scabbard during the Great War in Heaven, robbing himself of this boon. the sword is linked to the lineage of Uther, and wielding it is a signal of that lineage and the right to rule Camelot.
Clarent, the Blade of Peace
Arthur's personal sword was a ceremonial blade called Clarent, too pretty to be dirty with blood, but the Great Waar eventually ruins all things. The sword was lodged in the base of the skull of a mighty titan. Oddly enough, whereas Excalibur had symbolic meaning as a practical weapon of war, Clarent had literal meaning as a ceremonial blade. By that I mean; to pull Clarent from the bone and wield it, Arthur needed to be 'pure of heart' and honorable. By the end of the Great War, he could no longer lift it off the ground.

Arthur was the youngest of the 3 children of King Uther Pendragon, younger than Clarine and younger than Madoc. He had no regal pressures placed on him and thus had an adventurous soul. He never sought the throne, he knew he was not fit for it, but when his soft-hearted older brother allowed his foolish son to drag the Order into another War with the Holy Order, Arthur was forced to assume the title of Pendragon.
Education
As expected of royalty of his caliber, Arthur was educated in the ways of Majik, mastering all eight Arts. Furthermore he had an eye for strategy and tactics, having sit on serval of his father's war councils and leading his own chapter of Knights when Hallowed Lord Solomon laid siege to his home.

Arthur Ambrosius was the next in line as Madoc's younger brother, considering Eliwlod had no children or a consort. However, Arthur was an adventurer and sought to shrink the responsibility to his younger sister Princess Clarine. But she had forsaken her rights when she joined the Mages of Avalon and refused to re-take them, leaving the young Arthur as King. He was crowned king and, as is Camelotian King Tradition, was married to a Mage from Avalon, Guinevere Gawr. Arthur assembled his Round Tabel and set about trying to make sense of the war.

Arthur is recorded as a legendary and mythic being, rightly so, after inheriting the Dragonlord Force from his nephew. He led a strong offensive for the Kingdom and worked extensively with the Guardians Corps and Order of Yggdrasil. His greatest efforts were the addition of The Blackstone Hammer Forge and The Academy of Tarus Abid into the fold, both from different schools of thought, united by Arthur's strength if brute in nature.

Arthur's greatest project was the Ring of Moderation, a metaphysical structure that encompasses Midgard, acting as a moderator for classifications of beings. It prevented beings above a certain power and ability from manifesting in the Realm without drastically weakening themselves and outright banned certain Gods from manifesting at all without Vessels. This act helped secure Midgard and make it a safe haven for refugees escaping the carnage of war.

But, the war dragged on for thousands of years and Arthur quickly grew tired of the endless fighting and death. After killing a certain God, his 11 sons were cursed to die horrible deaths, and each one did, taking their last breaths in his arms. Only his 3 daughters remained, and he had them hidden from the cosmos by his sage councilor Merlin. One by one his Round Tabel fell or deserted him and even his own Knights and Warriors began to falter. He was eventually killed by his own bastard son, Mordred le Fay, with his stolen sword Clarent the Peace.

Arthur's first and real love was the Fairy Queen MAB whom he had already sired two sons by the time he was called to answer the throne. Thus he was made a Pendragon and in traditional Pendragon custom, he was married to a Lady from Avalon, Duchess Guinevere Gawr. The Duchess herself was of the Holy Order faith and was not a fan of the old-fashioned Camelot Kings, but agreed to marry Arthur only to strengthen her line. They were wed for regal responsibility so as to not break faith with Avalon and sired no less than 15 offspring together, but there was always something missing from their love.
