Physical Description

Special abilities

REBIRTH is the 1st Word of the 7-Part Word for the whole of creation, what we call the Yggtree. As the name implies, learning REBIRTH allows one to be reborn upon death into a new body. Learning REBIRTH is akin to reaching a state of enlightenment here in the land of the living and grants the Name Learner a metaphysical wheel that not only facilitates the act of reincarnation but also bestows a technique called the 'Noble Eightfold Path'.   Users can gain godhood via contact with or assimilation of a supernatural source or entity. With this event, the user can utilize virtually limitless power and bring order or chaos to the universe itself. Depending on the nature of whatever supernatural source or entity that grants them their powers users can gain powerful abilities based on the nature behind their power making them potential avatars representing their power and godhood by its nature and their own.
Users possess immortality, a state where one has eternal life and is undying. Usually, users never age, are completely self-sustaining, free from all bodily necessities, and can survive virtually any kind of decay or harm. Any damage done to the user would either be regenerated or just remain but not be fatal to them. As a byproduct of having everlasting life, users may have an infinite reservoir of life energy that can act as a dynamic system of their immortality. However, most immortal beings can still be 'killed', either through sealing, where they are forced into a state where nothing the user cannot do anything, thus essentially being dead or through negating their immortality or the source behind it.
The user can utilize the Sword Arts, a specialized system of techniques based on blade-based power. There are various types of powerful weapons that can grant their users supernatural abilities; however, properly wielding them to bring about desirable effects can still take considerable training and study, natures (anti-power, shapeshifting, etc.) and origins (divine, demonic, spiritual, elemental, etc.). By undergoing specialized training, one can learn to wield this weaponized power to exhibit skills and techniques ranging from enhanced physical ability to energy manipulation to healing. Inherited Magical Technique in the Lineage of Benwick.

The Blade of the Queer Scabbard & the Blade with the Crimson HIlt & the Blade with Strange Hangings

The Blade of the Queer Scabbard was a weapon belonging to Galahad's grandfather, the Fisher King, who used it to defend the Holy Grail. After Galahad passed his trials and defeated him in combat, The Blade of the Queer Scabbard was passed to Galahad as a sign of respect. The Blade with the Crimson HIlt was a broadsword belonging to Sir Balin the Savage, a storied and traumatic Knight. The blade was cursed to kill its master (thusly known as; Never shall man take me hence, but only he by whose side I ought to hang, and he shall be the best knight of the Realms entire) but Galahad can nullify this aspect to make use of the finely crafted weapon. It was left in a stone in Sir Balin's Motherrealm upon his death by his brother Balan, Galahad pulled the sword free as a young man.
The Blade with Strange Hangings (also called the Sword of David) was once used by King David, father of Solomon, King of Kings and founder of the Davidic Lineage of Kings. David used it to establish his vast empire and it was given to his son and heir SOLOMON, who was killed on board his vessel, the Ship of Solomon. Galahad later obtained the blade when he recovered Solomon's ship. The sword was adorned with precious jewels, and the crossguard was made of the ribs of two mythical creatures - the Papagustes and the Cortenans. It rested in a scabbard known as the Memory of Blood, made from timber from YGGDRASIL itself and covered in scales from the World's Serpent, Jörmungandr.
Two red cloths hung from the blade with the inscription upon them reading; I AM A MARVEL TO SEE AND KNOW, FOR NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO SEE AND GRIP ME, AND NEVER WILL, NO MATTER HOW LARGE HIS HAND, EXCEPT ONE MAN ONLY. AND THIS MAN WILL SURPASS IN SKILL ALL THOSE WHO HAVE COME BEFORE HIM AND ALL WHO WILL FOLLOW AFTERWARD. Another was etched into the blade itself which read; LET NO ONE BE SO BOLD AS TO DRAW ME FROM THIS SCABBARD UNLESS HE CAN FIGHT BETTER AND MORE BOLDLY THAN ANYONE ELSE. WHOEVER MIGHT DRAW ME OUT SHOULD KNOW THAT HE WILL BE KILLED OR WOUNDED. THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED ONCE. The scabbard, Memory of Blood, was inscribed as what follows; THE MAN WHO WILL CARRY ME MUST BE MORE VALIANT AND CONFIDENT THAN ANY OTHER IF HE IS TO CARRY ME AS PURELY AS HE SHOULD. I CANNOT BE TAKEN TO ANY VILE OR SINFUL PLACE. HE WHO WOULD PUT ME IN SUCH A PLACE WILL BE THE FIRST TO REGRET IT. BUT IF HE TAKES PROPER CARE OF ME, HE CAN GO EVERYWHERE SAFELY. THE MAN WHO HAS ME AT HIS SIDE CANNOT BE VANQUISHED AS LONG AS HE IS GIRDED WITH THE BELT FROM WHICH I HANG. LET NO ONE BE SO BOLD AS TO REMOVE THIS BELT. NO MAN IS AUTHORIZED TO DO SO NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. IT CAN BE REMOVED ONLY BY THE HAND OF A WOMAN, DAUGHTER OF A KING AND QUEEN. THE YOUNG WOMAN WILL CALL THE SWORD BY ITS RIGHTFUL NAME, AND ME BY MINE, SOMETHING NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO DO UNTIL THAT TIME.

The Holy Grail: Galahad's Siege Perilous

The Siege Perilous is a throne granted to beings who obtain the Holy Grail, allowing only that specific person to sit down. The throne is capable of traversing the Realms without the need for a starship and can be used to heal its master. Galahad can summon his Siege Perilous from anywhere at any time regardless of the circumstances or environment.

Personal history

Galahad was the 1st born son of Sir Lancelot and his Lady Wife Queen Élaine of the Davidic Lineage. As is tradition with the regal families of Benwick, the first-born child was sent to study under the Church of the Golden Vow, where he developed his pious demeanor and ascended to the rank of Ollamh just under the Ard-Druid of his sept. When he was an adult, Galahad embarked on a massive crusade to claim the Holy Grail which brought him face-to-face with his grandfather, the Fisher King, Rhydian David, who had bested Lancelot in ages past. However, where his father failed, Galahad succeeded and slew the Fisher King, claiming the Holy Grail for himself. He would come to serve under King Arthur as a member of his Round Table alongside his Lord Father and Uncle Hector as well as his brothers Sir Lanzelel and Sir Leodegrance. While Galahad survived the Great War in Heaven, he was eventually killed under mysterious circumstances afterward and has begun his rebirth cycle.

Education

As a child, Galahad was instructed by his mentor Ollamh-Covadonga and the Bean Feasa sisters who also raised the other royal Wards. Galahad possessed an affinity for the sword as a son of Lancelot but it was refined when he served as a Squire under his Uncle Sir Hector during serval of his crusades.

Deorum Novarum Coetus: The Assembly of New Gods
Shield of the Pantheon of the New Gods founded by Sir Galahad

All Ollamh of the Golden Vow are required to embark on a long and difficult pilgrimage to a holy site of their choosing to earn their marks. Galahad chose the Doamin of the Fisher Kings of Olde, a Realm where the Holy Grail resides, an artifact of immense power that is famed to bring Order, Prosperity, and Enlightenment to those who can bear it. Galahad embarked on this quest by himself wearing nothing but Golden Vow rags and returned 30 Years later bearing three legendary swords and the Holy Grail.
Galahad would surrender the Holy Grail to the Golden Vow, securing their prosperity for ages to come, and earned the favor and attention of a goddess, an Empyrean named Olufemi infatuated with Galahad's faith, courage, and resolve.
