Physical Description
Special abilities
Users possess the traits, attributes, characteristics, and/or abilities of dragons; powerful and legendary creatures, typically depicted with serpentine or reptilian traits, that feature in the myths of many cultures. They achieve this either through full or partial transformation into dragons, choosing to mimic certain aspects of draconic beings, or simply already being a dragon in the first place.
The user can utilize Dragon Arts, a specialized system of techniques based on the powers of Dragons of Olde. This set of skills is focused on channeling draconic essence, forces, magic, energy, elements, spirits, items, and/or possibly calling on draconic entities to perform various feats. Practitioners may or may not be dragons or draconic in origin. Whatever the circumstance, utilization of these arts enables one to exhibit unique capabilities such as conjuring draconic elements, supernaturally enhancing one’s body/abilities, and even accessing draconic materials.
✦
These arts tend to be particularly personal as they often involve the user's ability to tap into their inner dragon and learn the ways of dragons to fully utilize their arts, which gives the user essentially limitless possibilities for what they can accomplish. Through an understanding of the nature of this specialized essence, one can manifest various supernatural abilities ranging from combat skills to physical enhancement to supportive manifestations like healing.Specialized Equipment
The Mawdread Great Axe
The colossal great axe forged by Sir Mordred and inherited by Medraut after his demise, the Mawdread is an impressive weapon with a tainted legacy, one that Medraut sought to improve. The axe is cast from an ore that serves to regulate the output of energy from its master to conserve their stamina, golden cords with dragon heads adore the tip and the head of the weapon is chipped and cracked, yet unbroken. The axe demanded two hands and all of one's strength to effectively wield, but once contact with a target was made, there was little chance it would not break the surface.
Medraut's Short Bow
Unlike most other Dragon Knights and in stark contrast to his massive axe, Medraut wielded a short bow as opposed to a long bow, favoring the faster draw speed and movement options it afforded him. Growing up in Sarpedon, trained by Gorgon Amazons who favored the short bow, Medraut came to have great skill with the weapon, often relying on a diverse set of physical arrows as opposed to constructing arrows formed from magical energy like his comrades. The bow is raven black with a thin crimson grip.
A Visage of Medusa
Before departing on his long journey to BEDLAM, Medraut was gifted a Visage of Medusa by Princess Phadeiagny, 1 of 12 great Round shields constructed bearing the likeness of Queen Medusa. They have been heirlooms of the Kyōmori Clan for ages now and are typically bestowed upon the spouse in a form of a marriage proposal, a fact not lost on the wayward Prince. The shield is well-made and is enchanted to invoke feelings of fear and paranoia in Medraut's enemies.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Medraut was the son of Sir Mordred Le Fay, the commander of the Black Legion who turned and betrayed King Arthur Pendragon, the 5th Lord of Camelot during the Great War in Heaven. After King Gawain Pendragon, Lord of the Stars and The Demon Lancelot, Beholder of the Word Legendary killed Mordred, Medraut was placed in the care of Empress Rombraxo of the Outer Realm, Sarpedon home of the Gorgons. Here he was raised in secrecy until he was a man and made the journey back to the Inner Realms to join The Order of the Archdragon Knights.
Education
Medraut's sword training was begun by his older brother Sir Melehan before he was exiled to Sarpedon, where his swordsmanship was seen to by the Kyōmori Master of Arms, Lyndir Roz. His Philosophical, Science, Arithmetic, and political tutoring was overseen by the Skáld Uyrbe, though Medraut was not particularly interested. His magical training was to be headed by a capable mage, but the boy was the blood of the Gwar House, a regal lineage in Avalon who had all but mastered all forms of Magic, it was in their DNA. He took to it very fast and mastered most forms of the craft without much error or delay.

- Melehan Gawr (Older Brother)
✦
While many called for the death of Melehan, King Gawain spared the young man but bound him in service to Lord Feno Vacyne who commanded the Order's foothold within Alfheim. He placed Melehan on the border, in the thick of the fighting with Angels and Monsters. His companions were other banished and dishonored knights and his forces were composed of criminals and undesirable; thieves, rapers, oathbreakers, and the like, men who would often desert as soon as Lord Feno's Alfguard was not watching, ensuring further dishonor. It was a suicide chapter, one that saw no shortage of dishonored bodies to throw at its problems. But Sir Melehan was blackened for keeping his oath, not breaking it, and suffered no humiliation for obeying his Lord Father. But he would not suffer this miserable lot that served as an excuse for warriors and knights.
✦
The black prince took command of the knights, bending them to his command and having deserters hunted and killed to set an example. He commanded respect and that they conduct themselves in a manner belonging to that of knights. Feno's forces too bent the knee, not out of respect or fear, but out of necessity, as the disgraced knights, under the command of Melehan, punctured enemy forces and would leave them behind should they not submit to Melehan. His power was officially recognized by Lord Feno who named him Warden of the Dishonored Legion, ironically bringing both honor and awe to the dishonored knights.
✦
The Light Elf Jhaan Qikas was had with two of Melehan's daughters, Mithrel and Myllia, two mages whom he arranged to study in Avalon. Despite his great success, Melehan did not have much of a life, waging one war to another for the rest of his days, until they all blended together. He was a cog in a machine he did not build nor could he break it. That was until news reached him that his younger brother lived and was now a proper Knight of Camelot. The last time he saw Medraut was in Erkwood when Lancelot tried to kill him, stopped by Gawain. Melehan would dishonor his name once more when he and his Legion abandoned their post to aid Camelot when The Holy Order attacked it. It was the first time he saw his brother in person after so many years, and the last as he and his Legion gave their lives to ensure the other Knights could flee unmolested. His body was later received by Medraut who had him buried in Erkwood at a humble grave.

Medraut would eventually be appointed as the Master of Beasts by Princess Phadeiagny, the Empress's chosen heir, who had grown quite fond of the wayward lordling during his exile. However, Medraut set his sights on returning to The Order of the Dragon's Head and did so with the permission of the Empress, promising to one day return and wed Phadeiagny. Medraut did return years later, after the Siege of Camelot, fatally wounded and on death's door. After he recovered, Phadeiagny insisted on accompanying him on his future travels, to which he reluctantly agreed, although doing so forfeit her claim to her mother's throne.
✦
After the Battle of World's End, just before the start of the 2nd Great War, Medraut officially married Phadeiagny, taking the surname Kyōmori in place of Gawr, sharing no love with his mother's House. They would lead the House of Camelot for an age until Medraut's knights uncovered the final resting place of the wizard Merlin, where King Arthur's heir, Archfedd, Blade of Camelot, resided, suspended in deep sleep. With Princess Archfedd returned, Medraut yielded the title of Pendragon to her entirely and took a less active role in the war, having seen enough battles for serval lifetimes.
✦
Princess Phadeiagny would return to her Kingdom with her husband where they would reclaim her birthright from her sisters and be named Empress Phadeiagny and Emperor-Consort Medraut. After a life of war and constant service to the Realms, Lord Medraut found something resembling peace and sired the first of his 9 children, his son, and heir, Ofydd Kyōmori.
